Oh the things she says...

We were on our way to Community Group last night and Teagan was quite infatuated with a car beside of us.  This is what she said when they turned.

"She turned right so maybe she is going home and chewing bubble gum"-Teagan
"Maybe so Teagan, maybe so."-Me

I don't remember to write the funny things Teagan says down all the time but I try to catch them every once and a while. Here are some of her latest jewels...


"Belle is a mommy because if she has high heels and a big wedding dress then she must be a mommy. Like you are, mommy!"

"I have spinning pink sparkly shoes."
Mommy- why?
"Because I have on a little dress!"

"I like cold weather because it kills the germs and viruses- Josh
"And dragons! I don't like dragons!" -Teagan

"Cars don't have toes so they can't dance."

Teagan's school stories.

Yesterday on our ride home from school I asked Teagan what she did.  This is how the conversation went:

Mommy: Teagan, what did you do at school today?
Teagan: I didn't hit! (which is hilarious because she is not a known "hitter" at school)
Mommy: Very good, Little Bear! I'm proud that you didn't hit your friends!  Did you get to play today?
Teagan: Yes.
Mommy: What did you play?
Teagan: Dress up!
Mommy: What did you dress up as?
Teagan: Princess!
Mommy: Did you dress up by yourself?
Teagan: No, Colby too!
Mommy: What did Colby dress up as?
Teagan: Princess too!
Mommy: Oh, okay. What else did you do today?
Teagan: Me and Tilda read books!
Mommy: What book did you read?
Teagan: Sam.
Mommy: I've never heard of that book, what is it about?
Teagan:  Sam and Tilda.
Mommy: What do Sam and Tilda (who happens to be the name of her best friend) do in the book?
Teagan: Play and read books but not sleep.  Dress up too!
Mommy: That sounds like fun!
Teagan: Tilda read Alligator Under My Bed at grandma and grandpas.
Mommy: What is that book about?
Teagan: I slammed the door! Dad have trouble with the garage in the morning. I leave him a note there is alligator in garage.
Mommy: That sounds like a great story!
Teagan: Yeah, Tilda read it.  Not me.  I read Thomas now, Mommy.
Mommy: Okay, Little Bear.

Oh the things she says.

This morning we were in the car on the way to school and Teagan just starts chatting away....I love it when she does that.

"We can't drive over the mountain, Mommy"- T
"Why not, Little Bear?" -Mommy
"Because the car will get DIRTY!" -T
"Then how do we get over the mountain, Teagan?" -Mommy
"Tilda and Teagan take off shoes and walk.  Just Tilda Teagan."-T

So, nobody else is allowed to go over the mountain, especially not in the car because the car will get dirty, but "Tilda-Teagan" are allowed to go over with their bare feet...Where does she come up with this stuff? Oh to have the imagination of a two year old again...

Normal Car Conversations

This is what a typical conversation is like with Teagan in the mornings on the way to school:

T: Mommy
Me: Yes, Sweetness?
T: Mommmmy
Me: Yes, Sweetness?
T: (louder) Mommy! *giggle*
Me: Yes, Sweetness?
T: (even louder) MOMMY! MOMMY!
Me: I love you!
T: *giggle*
Me: Look, Teagan! Choo-Choo train!
T: CHOO CHOO! CHOO CHOO! Bye-Bye Choo Choo!
